Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and efficient Veterinarian to join our low-cost spay/neuter clinic team. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is deeply committed to increasing access to care and improving animal welfare in our community. The veterinarian will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter services while ensuring exceptional standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality spay and neuter surgeries on cats and dogs in a high-volume setting

Conduct pre-operative exams and ensure patients are appropriate surgical candidates

Oversee anesthesia protocols and monitor patient safety throughout procedures

Provide post-operative care instructions and ensure proper recovery practices

Maintain accurate and timely medical records

Collaborate with veterinary technicians and clinic staff to ensure efficient workflow

Uphold clinic standards for cleanliness, safety, and humane handling

Support a positive, team-oriented work environment
Minimum Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution

Active veterinary license in good standing

Surgical experience required; high-volume spay/neuter experience strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of anesthesia and pain management protocols

Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality of care
